Sting is one of those musicians that just gets better with age and his incredible talents have seen him create some of the most truly exquisite masterpieces during his time as the front man of the new wave rock group The Police from 1977 to 1986 and as a solo artist from 1985 to the present day.
During his time with the Police and as an independent musician, he has amassed 17 Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, three Brit Awards, and an Emmy, just to name a few and the list is vast. As a member of his previous band, he was also honored with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, and in the same year, he received a CBE from Queen Elizabeth II for services to music.
He has sold an incredible 100 million records, making him one of the world's best selling artists, and he has collaborated with industry greats such as Craig David, Dire Straits, Bryan Adams, and Rod Stewart.
With an eclectic mix of reggae, jazz, new-age, world beat, and classical styles in his music, there is no denying his talents, and the music just speaks for itself. Just look back at some of his hits, such as "Every Breath You Take," "Fields of Gold," "Shape of My Heart," and "Englishman in New York," and it becomes easy to see why.
Interestingly, Sting born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner got his name by wearing a black and yellow hooded jumper with hooped stripes that made him look like a bee.
This concert will take a look at his incredible past and recount all of his phenomenal music that led him to becoming the multi-award winning artist he is today. It will honestly be something very special indeed.
Tickets to his shows are already selling out like hotcakes and no real fan is going to want to miss out so make sure you take this opportunity right here to click the “GET TICKETS” button and secure your place at what will be the best concert of the year.
