Releasing their first album in four years, rock royalty Queens Of The Stone Age are back with new LP Villains! Joined by British sovereigns Royal Blood, QOTSA will be heading to Budweiser Stage on Saturday 9th September 2017 as part of an extensive tour promoting the record, so get ready to bow before the Queens!
Formed after the dissolution of band founder and frontman Josh Homme's previous band Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age is an American rock band that began in Palm Springs in 1996. Homme joined up with Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, Screaming Trees bassist Van Conner and Monster Magnet guitarist John McBain and Queens of the Stone Age was formed. The band had a slew of hits throughout the 2000s including "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret", “No-One Knows” and “Go With the Flow”, with a string of high profile performers including Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, PJ Harvey and Brody Dahl appearing on QOTSA albums. Their newest album,Villains, is slated for release on August 25, 2017.
