ABOUT INCUBUS

Over the last two decades, Incubus became a staple name in the alt-rock & metal scene. Taking over radio waves in these genres, every hardcore rock head knows the band's irresistible hits. Tracing their beginnings to 1991 when lead vocalist Brandon Boyd formed the band with guitarist Mike Einiziger, former bassist Alex Katunich, and drummer José Pasillas in high school, the boys juggled academics and rocking it out. In 1995, they released their debut EP EP "Let Me Tell Ya 'Bout Root Beer" and debut LP "Fungus Amongus". Since then, they've been pouring out their hearts for the love of bangin' metal rock.,

In 1997, their third studio release "Make Yourself" was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA - marking the band's rise to global fame through their hit single "Drive" which earned them their first #1 hit on the US Alternative chart, plus reaching the Hot 100's top 10.

Now, they've sold over 23 million records around the world, as everyone got hooked on their sound that was a "funky, jazzy, experimental rock band, incorporating elements of hip-hop into its music before it was fashionable to do so," as described by Las Vegas Weekly. AllMusic declares that they're "one of the most popular alt-metal bands of the new millennium," for offering a blend of heavy metal, jazz, hip hop, funk, techno, rap, alt-rock, and post-grunge in one complete package. NME described them as a "fusion-generated funk/nu-metal band." Standing out from the crowd, Incubus became an easily-recognizable icon from their peers in the '90s.

MORNING VIEW XXIII

In August 2001, the band released "Wish You Were Here" while they were on tour. Kicking off a new era as the single hit #2 on Alternative charts, the album went on to become one of their most iconic records at the time. 23 years later, the band's revisiting the era by performing it in its entirety on stage. Moreover, they released "Morning View XXIII", a re-recorded version of the acclaimed album.

"This album was such a big moment for us. It was a moment within a sequence of moments," Boyd told Rolling Stone. Sharing how they were meaning to do a live album of this era that solidified the band's wild momentum back in 2001 through 2005, “Why don’t we just make this as fucking amazing as we can possibly make it? Let’s just re-record the whole record.”

Now, we've got our hands on golden nostalgia spinning through. Bringing the band back to a period in time, every single fan is also taken back to these glory days. "It does feel like a lifetime ago, but there’s something that comes back in the nostalgia of it that is ultimately hopeful about where things are going," Boyd said.

So, as Morning View finds its way back on the road, make sure you have the best seats in the house by booking those tickets now! It's gonna be a wild ride.
