Ever since Hauser decided to cook up a fresh new sound out of the long and established traditions of classical, pop and rock music, he has turned heads in the industry. During his impressive career, he has stunned audiences with arena concerts all over the world. In fact, Hauser has played at more than a whopping 40 countries including debuts in Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, and Southbank Centre - just to name a few! In October 2006, the cello pioneer was chosen to perform at the gala at the esteemed Palazzo Vecchio in Florence for Mstislav Rostropovich. This performance was such a hit with audiences that Hauser was invited to perform in festivals all over Europe. At the International Holland Music Sessions 2009, he was hand picked to take part in the "New Masters on Tour" concert series, presenting young artists in world class concert venues all over the continent.

In January 2011, Hauser’s legendary rendition of “Smooth Criminal” blew up and catapulted him to global fame as he became a viral sensation. Alongside his friend and fellow cellist Luka Šulić, he was established as the founding member of the duo 2Cellos, capturing the hearts and minds of millions of listeners (970 million hits on youtube for “Smooth Criminal” alone). His brand of music is electric, described as “a unique pairing of cello pyrotechnics that align beauty, elegance and true rock muscle.”

Hauser has worked with a whole bunch of cellists, including the likes of the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich, Bernard Greenhouse, Heinrich Schiff, Frans Helmerson, Arto Noras, Il Volo, Ralph Kirshbaum, Valter Despalj, Philippe Muller, Thomas Demenga, Young-Chang Cho, Reinhard Latzko, Karine Georgian, Roel Dieltiens, and Alexander Ivashkin. But that’s not all, this star has also teamed up with industry titans like U2, Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, George Michael, and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
