Canadian country artist Dean Brody's career began in 2004 when he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his dream of being a performer. His first recording contract was signed with Broken Bow Records in 2008 and he made his debut that same year with the release of his self-titled album. The album launched the single "Brothers", which become a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Country Music Chart. Brody's sixth and most recent studio album, Beautiful Freakshow (2016), earned the singer 3 Awards at the 2017 CCMA Awards show, including Fan’s Choice, Songwriter of the Year and Top-Selling Canadian Single of the Year for "Bush Party". To date, Brody has won 16 CCMA Awards and 2 JUNO Awards.
