Budweiser Stage
Styx, Kevin Cronin & Don Felder are back on the road together! This is the 25th anniversary of The Brotherhood of Rock Tour. They're getting ready to have a blast at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto on Wednesday, August 13th. This may just be the best night of the season at this venue! It's not every day that you're going to get a chance to see three legends of rock doing their thing.
One of the coolest elements about this show is that usually, Styx, Kevin Cronin & Don Felder are all on stage at the same time. They're playing songs from the best of their respective bands. That includes The Eagles, and REO Speedwagon. Since this is something they've been doing for a while, you can be sure that this show at the Budweiser Stage won't feature any type of improvisation. If you want to catch these rock legends live in Toronto, click the get tickets button now.
This is perhaps the only show where you can hear Mr. Roboto, followed by a rendition of Ridin' The Storm Out, and having everything finish with Hotel California. Before these guys were on tour together, you could only find this mashup on the iPod of someone who really loved classic rock! The fact that you're going to be able to experience songs from iconic bands in the genre is certainly the big draw here. At the same time, there's something about the trio that just ends up delighting fans. The way that you can tell they like being around each other and have that chemistry really makes for a fun all around night. These guys have been on the road together quite a few times, so they must really like each other.
As mentioned, these shows usually don't operate like your regular performance, where there are bands who'll be the opening act. In this sense, it would be Don Felder opening up for Styx. That's not going to be the case, although you might have a chance to catch some local bands tearing up the Budweiser Stage if you arrive early! Having said this, the trio usually take the stage together and play each other's songs. That's another element that makes the spectacle unique. When did you ever think that you'd get Styx to play Hotel California? When some of the guys help with the vocals, it truly feels like you're at a cover band concert. It's just that the artists on stage are some of the most talented in the history of rock and roll! That makes a heck of a difference.
There are plenty of great spots inside Budweiser Stage. If you act fast, you can still find places near the stage to be right where the party's at. Another common strategy is to find a spot close to a bar or concession stand. If that's something that's important to you, take it into account when you click the get tickets button! Find your spots quickly because The Brotherhood of Rock Tour is likely going to sell out the Budweiser Stage.
