Budweiser Stage
Attention, nineties kids! Alanis Morissette is on the way to the Budweiser Stage on Sunday, July 14th, and two iconic female artists are tagging along for the ride! With special guests Morgan Wade and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, the Triple Moon Tour is set to commence in Phoenix, Arizona, in June, weaving its way through Texas, Ontario, Ohio, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and more before reaching its end at the prestigious Kia Forum.
A recipient of seven Grammy awards, Canadian singer Alanis Morissette has gained global recognition for her impactful music, down-to-earth personality, and dynamic appearances on television. Notably, she was presented with the distinguished Global Tolerance Award from the United Nations for her significant contributions to promoting tolerance through the performing arts and music.
In a recent announcement, she expressed her anticipation for the much-awaited trek, mentioning, "I am inspired and heartened and feel giddy inside to be going on this upcoming summer tour with Joan and Morgan and all our teams. Can't wait to see you, can't wait to perform!"
Taking the stage alongside the award-winning female artist is the renowned rock band Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. As a collective, the band boasts an impressive record of eight gold and platinum certifications and has produced nine Top 40 singles featuring iconic tracks such as "Bad Reputation,” "I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll," and "Little Liar.”
“With the rock genre’s tendency to lean more towards songs driven by anger or sadness, it’s refreshing to see a classic rock act’s take on the modern world with positivity while still not losing the edge that made them classic,” The Echo shares in a recent live review.
Completing the lineup is Morgan Wade, hailed as one of Nashville's most promising and rapidly ascending artists. Her debut album, "Reckless," charmed listeners and critics around the world, earning the top spot on Rolling Stone's "Best Country and Americana Albums of 2021."
The Budweiser Stage is known for hosting many diverse acts that visit Canada. Its location along the waterfront offers stunning views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline, making this the most gorgeous concert venue in the area, fit for the upcoming triple-threat event of the season.
