Mumford And Sons’ tour was recently put to a halt due to bass player Ted Dwane’s emergency surgery.  All’s well by now, so the band is gearing up for another leg which kicks-off in Canada this August.  “…you can’t plan it or predict it too much because that suffocates the life out it. That’s kind of what touring is like. Even though there’s a structure—you know what towns you’re going to, and that you’ll be playing a gig—pretty much anything can happen.”, says Mumford.

Mumford And Sons’ meteoric rise to fame came unexpectedly.  They were getting the indie-kind of attention from their homebase in West End, London, in 2007.  Yet in December 2010, when the band received two Grammy Award nominations, one for Best New Artist and the other for Best Rock Song (“Little Lion Man”), followed by their live performance at the Grammy ceremony in February 2011, the world soon took notice.  Their second album released in September 2012, Babel,  debuted at number one in the UK and US, becoming the fastest selling album of 2012 in the UK, and the second-biggest selling debut in 2012 in the US; and gave them another Grammy win for Album of The Year.

A good artist delivers the hits, but a great artist gives a performance that will be talked about for many lifetimes.  Don’t miss out on this exciting conversation.  Mumford and Sons is truly worth the experience.  Get your tickets now!
