Steely Dan was flying high in the late 70s as they ushered in their own brand of jazz -rock- funk fusion sound, and stung listeners with lyrics soaked in sharp sarcasm and in-your-face themes.  This prompted Rolling Stone magazine to give them the moniker  “the perfect musical antiheroes for the Seventies.” The band consisting of its core and founding members Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, also held the reputation (and sometimes, the notoriety) of obsessive perfectionism during studio recording sessions.   Yet fans love ’em to bits! Inspite of their decision to shun themselves from tours from 1975, ’til they disbanded in 1981, Steely Dan has amassed sales of over 40 million albums worldwide.

In 1993, they re-grouped and started touring again.  This year’s tour proved to be larger than life.  The Chicago Sun-Times raved “This was different. This was live. This was vibrant. This was a cascade of color carried along by Fagen, Becker, eight brilliant supporting musicians and three superb backing vocalists.”

Generations of music fans would not miss this for the world.  No excuses.  Make your move to get tickets now!
