Hawaiian Born Folk-rock singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, is well know for his smooth, calming, soft rock acoustic sounds. It was clear from his debut album "Brushfire Fairytales" that he was introducing a new unheard sound, in which he achieved huge commercial success with this album. As well as achieving success through with his music, Johnson has also provided the backing music for various surf films and soundtracks. As a keen surfer himself, this is close to his heart, with many of his songs written as if from the beach themselves.
His awards include: Surfing's Music Artist of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance( Grammy Award), Best International Male Solo Artist (Brit awards) and many more.
