Budweiser Stage
The 2000s called, and they just want to let everyone know they're going on tour! Three of the top rock bands from the 90s and early 2000s will be making their way to the Budweiser Stage in Toronto on Wednesday, July 23rd, as part of the Supercharged Worldwide in '25 tour. The Offspring are set to headline this rock fest. Maybe by the end of the night, you'll be having the worst hangover ever, or that might come on Thursday, July 24th. Even if that's the case, this is a show that you can't afford to pass up on.
Jimmy Eat World will meet everyone in "The Middle." It would be a nice touch to have them play that song if they are the second band out. These guys have a ton of tracks that will ramp up that 2000s nostalgia. By the time The Offspring hit the stage, you're going to think you went back in time to the summer of '03.
You might want to really think long and hard about whom you bring to this event. When New Found Glory comes out singing "My Friends Over You," it might get awkward if you brought a date! Just something to think about as you click the get tickets button to be a part of this concert.
There's no question that most of the people who are going to be headed to this show are looking to get a hit of nostalgia. The lineup is one that you probably wished you could've seen as a teen back in the 2000s. Punk kids from that time mostly grew up and got boring jobs, but hey, that job's going to help you get your ticket to this event. If you're one of those people who think they don't do rock music like they used to, this is your chance to be proven right. When The Offspring gets up there and hits the notes to "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid," you might get that pat on the back that you were looking for all of these years. It's a rock night, but the nostalgia effect could make it more emotional than you bargained for!
Most of the event is going to feed off the 2000s nostalgia, BUT that doesn't mean The Offspring won't use the opportunity to promote their new music. The excuse for this tour isn't just to help you remember. There's actually new music from the Offspring out this year. Their "Supercharged" album gives the name to the tour, so don't be surprised if you hear new songs at the Budweiser Stage.
Speaking of the famed Toronto venue, you're going to want to make sure you find the right spot to enjoy the show from. The floor and the lawn are the places you'll want to be if you just want to vibe. Obviously, on the floor, you have the advantage of being closer to the bands. Any place in the middle of the theater grants you perhaps a more comfortable seat and a decent view of the stage. That's especially the case if you find yourself toward the middle of the venue. From there, you can really take in the show the way it's meant to be.
